Edward G. Gibson (born 1936) is an American scientist-astronaut with a doctorate in engineering physics who flew as science pilot on Skylab 4 (1973-1974), the longest American space mission to that date. He appears in the archive in the Skylab technical crew debriefings that documented observations of light flashes, a reddish satellite, and maneuvering lights around the space station.
