Maurice Dubin served as Head of the Aeronomy Program within the Geophysics and Astronomy Programs division of NASA's Office of Space Sciences in the early 1960s. He appears in the archive as the author of a February 1962 memorandum urgently requesting an interview with astronaut John Glenn to document the luminous particle phenomenon observed during MA-6, and as a participant in subsequent Gemini scientific debriefings, as documented in NASA-UAP-D015: Astronaut Scientific Debriefings, 1962–1963.
