S. A. Goudsmit (Samuel Abraham Goudsmit, 1902–1978) was a Dutch-American physicist co-credited with the discovery of electron spin. He served as a member of the CIA's Scientific Advisory Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects (the Robertson Panel) in January 1953, which recommended debunking public interest in UFOs. He appears in the archive in connection with the transmission of the Robertson Panel report to the Secretary of Defense in 1953.
