W. Mark Felt (1913–2008) was a senior FBI official who later became famous as the Watergate-era informant known as "Deep Throat." He appears in the archive as an FBI Special Agent in the Seattle field office who reported on a UFO sighting over Sand Point Naval Air Station in February 1953, years before his rise to Associate Director of the FBI.
