Summary

This MISREP comes from a newer version of the form than the 2022 reports in this release: its identifier has a "prod-dod" prefix, and after the usual mission blocks it contains a section headed simply "UAP", with standardized fields for event type, maneuverability, physical state, intelligent control, signatures and kinetic estimates.

The event itself is brief. From 0141Z to 0150Z on 29 October 2025, while the aircraft was working a target, a crew member (name redacted) observed a UAP on the sensor feed and "stated it looked like a white round orbit." The report gives a speed "as fast as 500MPH" and says the crew "lost UAP", with the location redacted. The report is paired with the infrared video DOW-UAP-PR133.

Research Article

The sortie

The narrative (page 1) is a string of time-stamped lines. At 1732Z on 28 October the aircraft was "TASKED ... WITH 7 LINE", a seven-line tasking message; it departed at 1953Z "VIA SLR", an abbreviation the document does not expand (in Air Force remotely piloted aircraft operations it denotes satellite launch and recovery). Its ISR time on station began at 0025Z on 29 October; it saw the UAP at 0141Z, was cleared off tasking at 1222Z, landed at 1605Z, again "VIA SLR", and shut down at 1615Z. The total-mission-time field is redacted, but the printed takeoff and landing times give 20 hours 12 minutes.

The ISR GENTEXT (page 5) explains the purpose: a redacted requester asked for collection "IOT COUNTER SMUGGLING OPERATIONS, ENABLE FORCE PROTECTION, AND TO COUNTER ISIS AND ITN [redacted]". The Global Campaign Plan field reads "GCP - VEO (violent extremist group)". The crew "CONDUCTED TARGET DEVELOPMENT" and refers readers to an attached target log and post-mission product, neither of which is in the release. Weather had "No Impact"; "Intel Gap Filled?" is "Unknown".

The UAP block

The UAP section (pages 6-7) is where this form differs from the 2022 MISREPs, which had only a generic OBSERVATION block. Its filled entries are few:

• Initial Contact DTG: 290141:00ZOCT25; UAP Date of DoD Acquisition: 290145:00ZOCT25, four minutes later.
• UAP Event Type: "UAP Incident".
• UAP Maneuverability Observations: "FAST MOVING SPEEDS UP TO 500MPH".
• Friendly Aircraft Altitude/Depth: "~22,500 FT".
• UAP Physical State: "Solid"; UAP Effects on Persons: "NO".
• First Seen Radius / Last Seen Radius: 5 (no unit given), with every accuracy field marked "Estimated".
• Rank/Grade of the reporting individual: "A1C / E-3" (airman first class).

Almost everything else is a dash or blank: the aircraft's speed and trajectory, response to observer actions, number of UAP sighted, propulsion, intelligent control, signatures, RF data, kinetic altitude, velocity and trajectory, and first- and last-seen locations. The observer's assessment, the third-party observers, the coordinates and the asset type are redacted under (b)(1)(B), the Freedom of Information Act exemption for properly classified information; personal details are redacted under (b)(6).

"White round orbit"

The UAP GENTEXT (page 8) is printed twice, once as the description and once as the event description, with the same wording: the crew "OBSERVED A UAP ON FEED WHILE ON TGT", a redacted person "STATED IT LOOKED LIKE A WHITE ROUND ORBIT", it was tracked for a redacted period and seen "MOVING AS FAST AS 500MPH", and the crew "LOST UAP IVO" a redacted location. The second copy closes: "THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME."

Three cautions follow from the text. "ORBIT" is printed in both copies; whether "orb" was meant is not stated. "White" describes the object as seen "on feed", that is, on the sensor display, not necessarily its colour to the eye. And the report does not say how the 500 mph figure was obtained; the kinetic-velocity field is empty.

Markings and redactions

Each narrative line carries a portion marking. The routine lines are "SECRET//REL TO USA, FVEY" (releasable to the Five Eyes partners), but the UAP line and both UAP GENTEXT entries are "SECRET//NOFORN" (no foreign release). In DOW-UAP-D108, the other 2025 report, the pattern is reversed: the narrative is NOFORN and the UAP event description is REL TO USA, FVEY. No single rule for marking UAP content emerges from the two. The document's original declassification date was 20501028. The location is withheld throughout; only a single "3" survives before two redactions ("STA IVO 3", "LOST UAP IVO 3"), consistent with the start of a grid reference.

The PR133 video

The official description of PR133 (4 minutes 58 seconds, infrared) follows the sensor tracking one area of contrast: repeated zoom changes, a "focus box" at 01:43, the object leaving the frame and being reacquired several times, an auto-tracking reticle at 02:29 that "does not establish a lock", and from 3:23 the area of contrast "now significantly smaller" before it exits the top of the frame. The MISREP's window, 0141Z-0150Z, is nine minutes long. The PR133 description says the footage is from 2024; its title and this MISREP say 2025, and the report's date-time groups are unambiguous (OCT25).

Significance

The report adds a new data point, a single object described as white and round at up to 500 mph, to the modern MISREP series, and it documents the newer UAP-specific form. It also shows the limits of that form: most of its more than fifty UAP fields are blank, dashed, redacted or merely marked "Estimated", and none gives the object's size, altitude or heading. Compared with DOW-UAP-D108, filed three months earlier on the same form, D107 is sparse; compared with DOW-UAP-D106 and D109 from 2022, it offers a higher speed estimate but no size estimate.
