The subject exited their vehicle and observed the light for a few moments before retrieving their phone to capture a video.

Simultaneously, a second person inside the home was awaiting the subject's return. That person checked a home security camera, observed the subject standing by their vehicle looking into the backyard, and went outside to join them.

The second witness described the light as "a red sphere that was about one meter in diameter," with a color described as "brilliant and beautiful" — one that neither witness had ever seen before in that particular shade of red. Inside the red sphere, at the center, the subject described what they called "a white plasma sun" approximately the size of a basketball.

Movement and second orb

As both witnesses watched, the first orb UAP moved upward and to their left. At that point, they noticed a second, identical orb hovering above the first. The two orbs then moved together toward the west, above the tree line. From the start of the observation until the orbs traveled out of sight, the witnesses observed both a change in altitude and a change in direction.

The orbs were silent and moved in a smooth, coordinated motion — "as if they were flying in formation or were tethered together." As the orbs moved out of sight, the subject reported seeing the two orbs merge into a single orb, or come close enough together that only one could be distinguished.

Both witnesses captured video of the orbs beginning at the point when the objects were above the trees and moving away from the backyard. The FD-302 notes that the video is attached to the interview document.

Subsequent white-orb sighting

A few weeks after the initial event, the subject stated that they observed several white orbs traveling over their house from west to east. These white orbs were traveling at a significantly higher altitude than the red orbs had been, and appeared approximately the size of a dime held at arm's length.
